J.T. grew up in the small 1,500 populated town of Saratoga, Wyoming, two hours west of the state capital, Cheyenne.. JT attended the Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts for high-school. His college alma mater is the University of Denver where he graduated with a Bachelors and MBA in Business Management.
He has always had a passion for aviation from a young age with several pilots in the family and friend group. One of his favorite aviation memories occurred at age 9 when he flew on a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver in the northern Manitoba to a remote outpost fishing camp. As of now, he is a student pilot with just over 200 flight hours in Cessna 172 & 182.
Currently, J.T. manages shipping operations for Vacutech LLC,, a car-wash industry leading manufacturer of vacuum systems, in Sheridan, Wyoming. Besides flying, J.T. enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and volunteering. Other than Seaplane Pilots Association, he is in involved in local chapters of CHAPS Equine Therapy, Lions Club, Civil Air Patrol, Experimental Aviation Association, Recreational Aviation Foundation, National Wild Turkey, Mule Deer, Pheasant and Elk Foundations.
J.T. is working hard to open up for bodies of water for access. meting members and ultimately protecting and promoting water flying for generations to come!

David Nagler has logged time in some seventy aircraft and has single and multi-engine instrument, land & sea ratings. He has also been a member of SPA for close to 20 years. He's worked for a variety of financial firms, on and off Wall Street, for 30 years, and now he runs his own in Wyoming & New Mexico. He has served on several boards, including not-for-profits, and enjoys exploring the West, either on foot, skis, or by small plane.
