Ed got the seaplane bug in 1989, on the San Joaquin Valley, east of San Francisco. His first seaplane was a Quicksilver mx, with amphib floats, then moved on to a Franklin powered Seabee, and to his current GO-480 powered Seabee. He and his family currently live in one of the most beautiful airparks in the U.S., Long Island Airpark, Lk Norman, NC. (NC26). 3,000' grass runway in front, beautiful cove perfect for water landing in the back with a boat/seaplane ramp. Centrally located between Oshkosh & SNF.
