Brad Fenster is the owner and operator of Shark Aviation, a seaplane training and tour company based in Lexington, Kentucky. Brad loves aviation and has a passion for teaching.
Brad is a flight instructor for airplanes and helicopters. Brad is also an author and has published two books: “Guide To Seaplane Flying” and “The Helicopter Study Guide.” To focus more on seaplanes, Brad purchased a Cessna 185 on amphibious floats to provide seaplane training and tours.
In 2018, Brad helped the company obtain permission from the Army Corps of Engineers to conduct commercial operations on Lake Cumberland. Brad is a native from North Dakota, but now resides in Kentucky with his beautiful wife. Aviation runs in the family. Brad’s daughter Amy is a commercial seaplane pilot as well. Prior to learning to fly, Brad spent several years in the military. Brad was a Special Warfare Combat Craft Crewman in the U.S. Navy and he was also a Ranger-qualified infantry officer in the Army.
